Where are you from?
A small island called Guernsey in the Channel Islands, UK.
Why did you want to become a Photographer?
I went to art school then worked as an advertising creative in London before returning to Guernsey to follow a completely different career path in property. For me, photography is an instinctive medium where I can return to my roots as a creative. I don’t like to get too bogged down in technical expertise and concentrate more on the essence of atmosphere and story behind an image.
Why did you choose this particular shot to be your favorite photograph?
I chose this particular street photograph in Florence, Italy as I still find the ladies face haunting almost a year after taking it. There is something so compelling about her expression, I often wonder about her history and what life she has had. For me the unknown is captivating.
Anything else you want to add?
