Where are you from?
I am from France and now live with my family in a charming countryside.

Why did you want to become a Photographer?
I was attracted to journalism and editing at first, rapidly discovering a passion for photography and becoming a self-taught photographer. I fully agree with the idea that “a picture is worth a thousand words”.

Why did you choose this particular shot to be your favorite photograph?
I have a particular fondness for portraiture and B&W. For me, black and white is the best way to express how I see animals and wildlife, how I feel their personality. I love high contrast and deep shadows because I think it feels more emotional. My only requirement is to magnify my subject more than represent it.

Anything else you want to add?
I love this quote of french paleonthropologist, Pascal Picq : “man is not the only animal that thinks, but he is the only one who thinks that he is not an animal”.
